Riley's Farm Reflection
In our first rotation we learned about how they made clothes. How they made clothes was that they use a wooden thing with strings, a divider, and some yarn. I sadly forgot what is was called. After she taught us how to use the wooden thing we soon got into pairs of 3-4. I was paired with natalie and morgan. First i tried and got it correct with the help of the others. Then it was morgon and she also got it correct. The it was natalie's turn, there was a problem with the string, then she could not place the yarn in the right place. After that she also had trouble with the divider. Then we hear the bell ring and we were off. I personally thought that the instructor was kinda rude.
The we went to our next rotation which was how they made food. I learned a little more about the quartering act. I learned that the redcoats would barge in and order people around to do things and how to live. We rolled around some dough. We also grinded things to make flour. I also learned how to write with a quill. I liked that rotation it was very fun.
Our next rotation was manners. I was kinda daydreaming during that one so she turned to me and said something like this “ were you just watching me with a dialogue in you head saying oh I’m hungry food is good and other things.” Even I lthought that was funing so she was my favourite girl instructor. We learned how to bow. She was very nice. I learned that george .W. wrote a book of manner when he was young like our age almost. That rotation was fun and funny.
The next rotation we went to i acted. We learned about the taxing act or something like that. Our teacher chose 6 kids to act. I was one of them. I had to go against the taxing act. I had to read of a script and do improve. In the end I gave up my money but i wish i did not. That rotation was very knowledgeable.
My favorite rotation would be the last one. We were in a courtroom and i also had to do acting. My friend was a robber and i was a pirate. I was my friends “helper” so i read a script saying that i was with her. Then he made me say the abc. I said I I and r. The he accused me of being a pirate. In the end we were all guilty so he ordered a killing and when he asked who would like to do the honors everybody rose their hands. It was so much fun. We also learned in our second to last rotation different army commands.
Everything was really fun. My favorite part about the the whole thing was the war in the end. In was so much fun. It taught me how to be independent, trust in others, to be kind, polite, and to stand up in what you believe in. It was for me by far the best field trip I have ever had at casita.

- Research On The Currency Law
The currency law happened from 1751-1764. The currency law is when colonist printed out there own money which was called colonial scrip. Parliament tried to prevent that by making colonial scrip illegal, and making it half the price of British money. This law was one of the biggest problems that started the war as well. I found is cruel that they made the money have half of the value of British money, because not everybody can get money that easily.
